I hadn't, until ...

Della demonstrated that the doors are 

just her size

Mommy's Helper ...

As I've mentioned before

we've been working hard at remodeling Stark's childhood home 

in preparation to move into it this summer

Recently our weekends have been spent up at this house

where Della has been a big help...

entertaining herself while her parents work

Here she is helping me clean the floors...

Here she is inspecting my garden preparations ... 

 She informed me that I had turned the soil just right

I'm pretty sure she didn't ingest more than a handful or two

I love that Della's independent nature allows her to explore on her own

***with parental supervision of course***

Pooh Shopping Spree

When you reach the year and a half milestone

and you LOVE Pooh and all his friends

your parents take you on a Goodwill shopping spree!

$5 buys a lot of happy

Goodness my girl loves Winnie the Pooh

Tigger & Eeyore too!

We now travel & do bedtime with Bear, Pooh, Tigger, and Eeyore

as parents

maybe we should have thought this through a little more

Fearless Swimming

Della is learning to swim ... fearlessly. 

We've been remodeling a house in preparation of moving into it this summer

*excuse the mess

Bonus ... it has a hot tub!

We've turned the temp down to a comfy lukewarm

blocked the afternoon sun with a deck umbrella

and Daddy is teaching Della to swim!

Her quick progress, and fearlessness, astounds me!!!

In only a couple weeks...

Della has gone from tentative edge walker ... 

To FEARLESS deep end jumper!!!

  ... again daddy!!!

... attempting to capture her Tigger pool bobber

 ... darn bobber ... get in the net!

  Proud of their accomplishments!

This is how my husband and baby will be spending their summer

... while I spend my days away at work

... I'm beginning to think I should have picked a career in Education.
