Another witching hour excursion ...

 it may be my favorite yet.

Both kids had been sick with fever for a few days prior so a sunny evening and a trip to the waterfront was just the medicine they needed.

Snow Day!

 

Better late than never ...

In typical PNW fashion we had a just a few days of really nice snow following Christmas. Della, being a Christmas Baby LOVES snow and I absolutely couldn't not document this excursion ...

even if I'm 6 months late.

Raring to go ... mind you, it was really early in the morning!

 

Oh yes she did ... laid right down in the snow!

 

Daddy was nice enough to build her some snowballs.

She spent quite a bit of time crawling through the snow.

May Evening at the Beach 05.2014

 

We LOVE living in the Pacific Northwest and consider ourselves lucky to live within minutes of several State Park Beaches. Although not quite the same as those Hawaiian beaches mommy grew up with, beaches will be a major part of my babe's youth.

 

 Plus, with Della's boundless energy, our local beaches have become our salvation on these long early summer evenings.
