Disney on Ice

Our Darling Della is Disney Crazy!

and we fully support her obsession

As an early birthday present we surprised Della to a performance of Disney on Ice

She was told only that we were going on a Della Date

Which started with dinner ... 

and my daughter looking much older than her nearly 3 years

As it is very hard to take pictures in a darkened stadium

 ...of fast moving ice-skaters ...

this post is really a compilation of Della pictures 

showing just how amazingly beautiful our daughter is

and her HUGE smile as she enjoyed the performance

It was a very good performance and 

ALL of Della's favorite Disney characters and princesses were in attendance.

I should probably start planning our next trip to California ...

I can honestly say that I'm very much looking forward to our next Della Date. 

Your conversational skills have significantly increased since this Disney Date 

so I anticipate even more fun on our next adventure.

Morse Farm

 

This year for our pre-Halloween adventures we visited the Maris Farm Pumpkin Patch

All the activities were organized for younger children and overall it was a very pleasant visit.

 

Another event where we were parked by horses!

Della was a little unsure at first but quickly warmed up to the idea of romping in corn kernels.

 

COW TRAIN

 Della spotted the cow train from the parking lot and quickly headed in that direction.

It was a little unsettling to watch my not-quite-three darling daughter hop into the cow car,

buckle herself in, and head off down the road

- ALONE-

with nothing but a wave goodbye!

No big deal leaving her parents behind!!!

He took a peek and informed us that Della was helping the young fellow bury his hand in sand

I now catch Della astride each toy horse we stumble upon

and she always, very carefully, makes sure to put her feet in the stirrups.

But he wasn't big enough this trip and watched sadly from the side

We learned that Della is NOT afraid to dive feet first into a totally dark 'mine' shaft

In fact  ... she emerged from the dark with a HUGE smile

and promptly ran back up the hill to slide down again

... and again

... and again

   After 5 or 6 runs up that hill she was pooped and plopped herself down to play in the gravel
