Without proof by pictures I'd say that we somehow missed April and May this year.
Amidst our efforts to buy a house in a sellers market, start-up new projects at work, manage the Spring bloom in our yard, clean-up our home to sell, and generally try to keep our heads above water ... life is moving pretty quickly around here.
Yet we have managed to capture some great milestones!
The kids enjoyed their first adventure in a fast-food play park.
Burger King veggie burgers!
At two and a half years old Huck discovered his funny looking toes in the tub.
They're not actually funny looking ... just a little wiggly.
Della learned to button buttons!
Huck perfected his wheelbarrow skillz.
And his park climbing skillz!
Still working on proper shoveling technique but Huck remains motivated by anything Dirt.
Huck helped mama transplant strawberries.
Which the kiddo's then helped water. Together!
Mama and Della went to our first movie date ... Zootopia ...
unfortunately we left early as the dark stormy nights were a bit much for Della.
I'm still curious if the bunny solved the mystery!!
This would be Huck yelling 'FIRE' at the top of his lungs.
Della is learning to swim and hold her breath under water.
We promised her a trip to Hawaii once she learns to swim!
Della managed to convince Daddy to let her help make a huckleberry pie
See her helping in the background there?
With our early spring we hung up mama's Christmas hammock
Della learned to blow up balloons!!!!
A really big deal at our house!
We've explored a few new beaches including this Tacoma Narrow Park.
This would be Huck's crabby signal as he embarks on a search for crabs
Della is no longer interested in finding crabs ... she'd rather climb the trees.
I came home from work one evening to this extremely rare event ... Della reading to Huck.
I'm pretty sure they were arguing over the color of the fire truck ... green ... red ... green ... red
Still taking swimming lessons and loving the play time but not so much the listening to instructions.
Della had been asking for a couple weeks to 'sit in the fishy chair' at Redondo.
Last Friday we made that happen for her followed by dinner by Salty's on the beach.
Love, Love, living on the Puget Sound!
We may not be doing a great job documenting our life during these busy and hectic times but we are doing a great job enjoying each moment together.
