My sister, Aunt Ellen, made a quick trip up to visit us recently. Della hadn't seen her aunt since she was a month old ... but somehow I think she remembered her auntie.
Ellen brought Della a really cute stuffed frog which you can't see very well because Della is tossing it around in delight.
Ellen was able to watch Della work off some early morning energy as she walked in circles around the coffee table ... with her frog.
It didn't take long before Della was giving her Auntie hugs ... something she rarely gives her momma.
This is my personal favorite picture. Della really enjoyed sitting in Ellen's lap while enjoying some morning cartoons.

Wish Auntie Ellen lived closer. It was such fun to see here with Miss Della.
