Typical Weekend at Home

When you are the parents of an active toddler a weekend can seem like a very long time. 

Below is an example of a single weekend in the Porter Home ... 

Della discovering that her play mat ... comes apart ...

... into many, many pieces.

... and dance ...

... and survey her reign of destruction.

Yard work ... I can help!

Playing her piano with her feet ... and explaining the nuances to me!

Helping daddy put together the new vacuum ... this piece makes a good phone.

She figured out how to climb into the floating highchair all by herself ... I think it entailed crawling across the table but I really don't need to know, nor do we now require a floating highchair.

And Stark wonders why I'm exhausted at the end of each day ... 

Hint: The best mothers day gift for any mother ... a long, quiet nap.
