As you may have heard, the pacific northwest is getting hammered this winter.
Rain, Snow, Wind ... it's been hitting us hard for several weeks.
Luckily, we're prepared beyond the typical batteries and extra food.

As soon as the first snow hit Crystal Mountain we headed up.
There wasn't much, and it was painfully cold, but fun was had by all ...
until Della got hit in the face with a snowball.
But our girl is a toughie and after a few tears, the fun went on.

Della stayed cozy warm even playing in puddles snow.
When he's older we'll remind him of how cool he was wearing his sisters hand-me-down purple mittens.
