In Search of Snow ...

The day after Christmas we trekked up to Crystal mountain in search of snow. We were on a mission to try out Della's new snow gear. This time around the weather at Crystal was perfect ... calm and cold but not freeze your hair cold.

Getting geared up ... 

I think she knows we're headed out into the snow ...

 Patiently trekking up to the ... bathrooms. It's an hour and a half drive up to Crystal! Mama's first stop is always the bathroom!

Walking was a little challenging in all that gear. 

But she was determined to get moving. 

So excited for the day Della can hit the kids slope! You can't see him but there is a 26mo old boy skiing down the kids slope with his father. According to his mother he was on skis last year at 16 months!!! He was loving it! As will Della ... I just know she'll have a blast on the slopes. 

 Next we headed over to a plowed parking lot to let Poppi run ... turns out it was the perfect stomping ground for Della. 

It was much easier to move without the jacket. 

 Can you see the smiles!!! There was quite a bit of down-time but Della LOVED being outside on the snow. Although, it did appear she remembered the pain of cold hands from the previous trip ... this time she kept her gloves on.

We are so excited to introduce you to skiing next winter!!!
